A new Steam Deck Beta Client update was released recently with a few fixes and a new landing page. The new landing page is for Steam Input when it has to give you an option to select a new configuration when there’s no file for the old one. We also have an improved display for cloud sync status in the Steam Input configurator, and the original 2015 Steam Controller should pair again without issue.
There were also some fixes for older CPUs that could cause crashes, desktop shortcuts not using the saved launch option, and some cases where the virtual keyboard would drop presses when using both trackpads to type.
You can download the update yourself in the System Settings on the Steam Deck. Make sure your update channel is set to Beta or Preview.
