TJTO Opens The Judicial Year Of 2026 With A New Composition Of The Full Court In A Solemn Session Next Monday (February 2nd) – esmat.tjto.jus.br

The Court of Justice of the State of Tocantins (TJTO) will hold a formal session to open the Judicial Year of 2026 on Monday (February 2nd) at 2 p.m. The ceremony will take place in the Meeting Room of the Full Court, with live streaming on YouTube, and it symbolically marks the beginning of the jurisdictional and administrative activities of the state Court in the new year, which inaugurates a historic stage for the Judiciary of the state of Tocantins.
The formal session will be the first held with the new composition of the Full Court, which has grown from 12 to 20 justices. The expansion, which took effect in December, aims to speed up judgments in the second level of jurisdiction and respond to the growing demand from society of the state of Tocantins.
The ceremony will be conducted by the president of the TJTO, Justice Maysa Vendramini Rosal, and it will be attended by all members of the Court, magistrates, representatives of the Executive and Legislative Powers, as well as authorities, partner institutions, and judicial officials.
The session will open with a statement by the president, followed by remarks from other authorities in attendance. The event reinforces the institutional tradition of dialogue, transparency, and cooperation among the branches of the government and the various bodies that make up the Justice System.
In line with the national Judiciary, on the same day and at the same time, the Federal Supreme Court will also hold a formal session marking the opening of the Brazilian Judicial year.
