YouTube ad revenue has surpassed $60 billion for the 2025 fiscal year.
Google (GOOGL) parent company Alphabet has issued its Q4 2025 quarterly earnings report. Many of the company’s various sectors appear to be displaying growth, which includes YouTube. YouTube has surpassed $10 billion in ad revenue for the third time since last year, coming in with $11.383 billion for the most recent quarter. For the full year, YouTube ad revenue and subscriptions surpassed the $60 billion mark.
“We continue to drive strong growth across the business,” Alphabet/Google CEO Sundar Pichai said in the Alphabet Q4 2025 earnings report. “YouTube’s annual revenues surpassed $60 billion across ads and subscriptions; we now have over 325 million paid subscriptions across consumer services, led by strong adoption for Google One and YouTube Premium.”
While YouTube’s $11.383 billion in YouTube ad revenue is a new best for Google, beating out the $10.473 billion recorded in Q4 2024, that still falls below analyst expectations. Wall Street analysts had predicted an $11.84 billion revenue figure. Alphabet (GOOGL) finished the February 4, 2026 trading day down $6.67/share and remains down in after-hours trading.
We’ll have more on Google and other companies reporting their earnings throughout the day. Be sure to catch the Google (GOOGL) Q4 2025 earnings call on the Shacknews Twitch channel later today.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can’t enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
