LinkedIn has elevated Devajit Roy to Head of Growth & Mid-Market for its advertising business across India and the SAARC region. In his expanded role, Roy will oversee emerging business segments, including SMBs, mid-market enterprises and startups across the region.
Commenting on the development in a recent LinkedIn post, Roy said, “January marks the start of a new chapter for me at LinkedIn, and I’m excited to take India’s global footprint in digital advertising to the next level. This role elevation allows me to have a greater impact on how we support our customers while executing in line with our global growth priorities.”
Previously, Roy led New and Emerging Business at LinkedIn, with a primary focus on acquisitions in India. He has been with the company for over a decade, having joined as an Account Director for North India. Before LinkedIn, Roy worked with digital and media companies including Sizmek by Amazon, Rediff.com and The Times of India.
