Exclusive: OANDA CRO Mark Chesterman departs – FX News Group

FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that the management changes at CFDs broker OANDA are continuing, following OANDA’s acquisition by Prauge based prop firm FTMO, with the latest executive to depart the company being Mark Chesterman.
Mark’s spot on the board of OANDA’s FCA regulated entity, OANDA Europe Limited, will be taken by company Chief Technology Officer Mike Bird.
Mark Chesterman had been with OANDA for seven years, joining as Head of Trading in 2019 before being named Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in 2022. He previously spent 14 years at IG Group, ending his tenure at IG as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for IG Institutional. Mark has also served as COO at startup prime broker Stater Global Markets.
Recently we reported that OANDA CMO Darren Moffett had moved to the Exinity Group as CMO for FXTM, alongside OANDA’s Head of Marketing Operations Stephanie Cook.
